This is an original US one sheet for the American film noir, Sweet Smell of Success. The movie features powerhouse performances from top-billed stars Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis, whose intense, low-angle photographic close-ups dominate the layout. The artwork heavily emphasizes the dark, psychological tension of the plot, framed by stark lighting and character quotes-such as Lancaster's text defining his role as a ruthless, power-mongering columnist with sixty million readers.
