Original Front of House Cards and Lobby Cards
Front of house cards and lobby cards are the intimate side of cinema collecting - smaller than posters, printed in sets, and designed to dress the entrance of the cinema itself before audiences went in.
The distinction is simple: front of house cards are British, typically 8x10 black and white or colour photographs displayed in frames outside the cinema. Lobby cards are American, printed in colour sets of eight, each capturing a different scene from the film. Both are original photographic material - not reproductions - and both are increasingly sought after by collectors who want something genuinely different.
We sell individual cards and complete sets, across genres and eras, each researched and presented to collector standard. A complete lobby card set in good condition is a serious collector's piece; a single front of house card can be the perfect, affordable way into original cinema material.
